Preliminary estimation and assessment (done prior to the Red Detail Service)
A full check will be made on the condition of the vehicle, with an emphasis on how our services can improve its appearance and protection.
Vehicles will be checked using heavy duty inspection lamps for oxidisation, swirl marks, tree sap, bug splatter, tar, industrial fallout, acid rain, paint overspray, bird droppings, brake dust and airborne metal products.
Current polish and wax protection will be tested to ascertain the paintwork history.
Digital photo’s taken for review with customer’s permission.
Paint depth checked for the correct paint levels required for polishing, (if we find that the paintwork is too thin or damaged then we may decline some of our services for your vehicle). This will be rechecked on the day to ensure correct polishing procedures are done.
Polish a test panel on the vehicle and check the results.
The work area will be assessed for health and safety conditions prior to leaving.
An estimate will be printed and given to all customers whereupon your bookings can be confirmed at the time or via the telephone/e mail at the customer’s convenience.
Red Detail Service Prices from £375.00 to £475.00 +VAT depending on size and type of vehicle and which wax is used (2 days to complete)
Washing:
Under body cleaned with hose including wheel arches, using car wash soap, wash buckets, wash mitts scrub brush and cleaner. Tyres and wheels cleaned and treated.
Pre-wash and full vehicle wash using citrus degreasers, with a pressure washer and de-ionising water filter and snow foam. Remove tree sap, bug splatter tar other blemishes. Wash with carwash soap and two bucket method with a deep pile microfibre wash mitt. Clean doorjambs bonnet/ boot edges with towels and cleaning cloths using an all purpose cleaner .Grille and other metal trim including exhaust trim cleaned with all purpose cleaner. Vinyl and convertible tops washed with buckets of car wash soap and wash mitt.
Rinse entire vehicle with de-ionised water, dry with microfibre drying towels and use quick detail spray to stop water marks appearing.
Interior Detailing:
Interior and dash thoroughly cleaned throughout. Windows cleaned with glass cleaner and cloths.
Doorjambs/panels cleaned throughout. Vinyl and rubber dressing thoroughly cleaned. Seats cleaned and conditioned. All carpets shampooed and dried.
Engine Bay:
Initial /detailed cleaning using degreasers in compressed air spray bottles, brushes, towels, paper towels, foil hyper dressing. Polish and shine using metal /paint polish wax vinyl / rubber dressing soft cloths.
Exterior Finish and Shine:
Paint depth rechecked (as per estimate) for the correct paint levels required for polishing and reports created (if we find that your paint is too thin or damaged then we may decline some of our services for your vehicle).
Remove any remaining embedded contamination with a clay bar and lubricants, acid rain, tree sap, paint overspray, industrial fallout, bird droppings, tar, sports light abrasions, oxidation, brake dust and airborne metal products.
Polish selection:
Polishes for cleaning paint can be pre polish, finishing, cutting or compound. Types of polish used according to which type you require and using only the best manufactures products.
Hand polish for removing light oxidation using pre-polish/polish selected.
Machine polishing, using rotary and dual action tools, with (buffer / polishing /cutting pads if required) for polish and wax application.
Removing stickers from paint and glass, using adhesive remover, blow dryer, heat gun or razor scraper.
Sealants can be added at this point by machine polisher, which provides longer paintwork protection if requested.
Wax can be added for better reflection and more protection. Pre-wax cleaners used for wax bonding preparation.
Wax selection:
For an additional cost we can offer quality Carnauba waxes which offer various levels of protection, durability and add better wet look reflection. We can apply more than 1 layer if you wish. The higher the Carnauba properties available, the better the overall protection and finish.

Medium wax content: £30.00
Low wax content: £20.00
Glass Trim and Moldings: (plastic, vinyl & rubber, exhaust tails)
Exterior glass is thoroughly cleaned and shined. All trims and moldings cleaned, dressed and finished.
Plastic windows cleaned, polished and treated.
Wheels and Tyres:
Wheels will be polished, tyres will be dressed to finish
Final Inspection:
Vehicle checked in sunlight. Digital photos taken for review and used on website, with customers permission.
Obtain customer satisfaction. Give general advice on vehicle aftercare when our services have been completed.
Orange Detail Service Prices from £150.00 to £250.00 + VAT depending on size and type of vehicle (8 hours to complete) (No Grey Detail Service required - Preliminary Estimation and Assessment)
